Ukulele for Beginners pop-up course

Discover and learn to play the Ukulele
Do you regret never learning to play an instrument? Do you want to keep up with
your grandchildren? You can learn to play the ukulele from zero in just a few
lessons - it’s taught in many schools today in preference to the recorder.
Forget George Formby – just Google “ukulele version of (‘Any well-known song’)”
to see what it can do. Groups like our own u3a Ukulele Playing Group are singing
and strumming chord accompaniment to popular songs all over the country. Songs
from the 20’s to today, players all with a big grin!
This course is perfect for any u3a member looking to get started. It will add a new
dimension to your life. You don’t need to read music; graduated practice songs
will be supplied weekly, plus tailored course notes.
Learn how to hold, tune and play your ukulele, plus a few easy chords - you’ll soon
be up and running - all for a one-time, up-front cost of just £30.
