This is a new group offering members a forum for sharing experiences, information and ideas on the subject of travel. The aim is to cover all aspects of travel, local, national, international, long-haul - and by all methods – by air, rail, car, ship and so on.
Together we have probably all squirrelled away many ideas and tips over the years, and this forum will provide an opportunity to pick each other’s brains.
We hope people will come along ready to talk about aspects such as favourite holidays, resorts, hotels, restaurants etc. and more specific ideas on best travel companies, where to look if you’re travelling solo, or are disabled and special interest holidays for those interested in art, architecture, cookery, wine, language learning, walking, mountaineering and so on. Depending on the group, we might decide to focus on a particular area of the world or a particular country.
