This group started in 2016 and meets monthly rotating the meetings in different members' homes. We are a mixed bunch and rarely all agree about a book. We read mainly novels but also an occasional biography/autobiography. The member who chose the month's book opens the meeting with a brief biography of the author and their reasons for suggesting the book. We then all discuss our impressions.Books chosen in the last few months include:Fresh Water for Flowers Valerie Perrin; The Sea The Sea Iris Murdoch; A Killing in November Simon Mason; Lessons in Chemistry Bonnie Garmus.We also let one another know what we have been reading that month in order to swap recommendations.
