The object of the Group is to explore the history of Worthing and surrounding areas, through a mixture of Talks and Visits to places of interest.  We meet at Durrington Community Centre for Talks, but Visits can be anywhere that interests us.  Our area of focus is roughly East to Chichester, West to Eastbourne, and North to Horsham, but most visits are closer to Worthing itself.  Members are expected to contribute by making arrangements for visits or presentations from time to time.  We meet on the second Wednesday of every month.
