Meet up for a gentle walk in the country side. This group is for those who unable to walk far or on difficult ground. Afterwards we find a local cafe for have refreshments, which is just as important as the walk itself.
Hopefully most of the walks will be accessible by public transport but sometimes car sharing my be necessary.
Please note that whilst the u3a does have public liability insurance for member activities, it is expected that members of this group will follow the advice/instructions of Walk Leaders to minimise risks to both themselves and others, and take responsibility for their ability to complete a walk.
